Programmes

BWell Programme
​
Our comprehensive 6-week psycho-educational programme strategically applies theoretical and evidence-based approaches to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
​
Our programme aims to:

Develop a culture of positive mental health and well-being across the whole organisation
-
Increase awareness and reduce stigma of mental health and well-being
-
Up-skill and empower young people to manage their own mental health and well-being
-
Prevent mental health and wellbeing issues through early psycho-educational intervention
Young people will:

Acquire invaluable life-long skills in managing their mental health and wellbeing

Manage challenging life events more effectively, limiting disruption to education, attendance and behaviour
-
Obtain skills to help develop a more positive mindset.

Feel more confident in themselves and in their abilities.

Have improved self-esteem and self-worth.
Our BWell programme has been designed to be as concise as possible to ensure engagement from students, with an in-depth level of learning that will provide the necessary skills in order to see effective outcomes.
The programme runs over 6 weeks, delivering weekly 2-hour modules to a maximum of 20 individuals, covering a range of topics, such as:

Peer Mentor Programme
​
Our innovative peer mentor programme establishes an essential skill set in attendees in order for them to work effectively as members to their peers. They will be able to identify what the role of a peer mentor is, how to look after themselves as a mentor, how to appropriately signpost a mentee and how to build effective relationships using support role skills.
​

Our Programme Aims to:

Develop confident, knowledgeable mentors

Develop an understand of the important of self-care

Raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of mental ill health

Develop confidence in appropriate signposting

Gain skills and knowledge in building relationships

The programme runs over 5 weeks including a 6th module for staff development that can be delivered flexibly to meet the needs of the organisation. The modules are as followed:

Presentations

​
In addition to our 6-week programme, we are able to deliver 45-60 minute individual presentations to a larger number of delegates. We are able to run these in addition to our BWell programme and we are also happy to discuss delivering them as stand-alone presentations.
​
Our presentations incorporate established theory, research and literature from positive psychology, as well as evidence-based theories from a range of sources, all with the aim to improve awareness and provide information around the given topic. These presentations are suitable for larger groups in order to adopt a whole school approach to positive mental health and well-being.

In order to establish a whole organisational approach to positive mental health and well-being, it is imperative to involve the whole organisation. Not only do we believe in developing skills in young people, we believe in training staff to support the young people to use these skills.
